It’s not about the issues … it’s about being involved with what’s going on in the world

I always liked John McCain … I bought into his being a “maverick” and respected him for “being his own man”. But a recent blurb hidden away in a New York Times story* really got my attention.

Is it truly possible that he has “not mastered how to use the internet” and relies on his wife and aides … that he is just now “becoming computer literate to the point where I can get the information that I need.” Does that mean he can’t even read this article unless it’s in print?

Don’t know about you, but — regardless of the issues or the politics — if in 2008 the leader of the free world doesn’t know how to use the internet, how can he actually get the pulse of what’s going on around the globe?

Talk about living in a bubble as President and in the White House –Wow! Is this being out-of-touch or am I crazy?
