A few weeks ago someone in our office got an e-mail from a business contact to check out her Facebook photos online. It seemed a little fishy, and, it turned out, it was … That friend never sent anything.  Today, I got a similar message from an acquaintance, and I thought “no way she’d send this to me!” We asked around, and it seems lots of people are getting these mysterious “Facebook” messages from friends or address book contacts, asking them to be their friend of view their photos.

Heads up! If you get a Facebook email that doesn’t seem quite right, don’t open it or, if you open it, don’t click any of the links. At the worst, they appear to be some kind of virus; at the least, some form of weird spam.
